About Me
About Me
Hi, I’m Kendall. I’m a multi-generation Nantucket native who grew up on the island exploring my love of writing.
Writing was always “the thing” for me; I never wanted to pursue anything else (aside from a brief period of wanting to study sociology/social psychology). I’ve been writing in some way, shape or form for 20 years now.
I began my master’s degree in NYU’s MSPW program (remains in progress because finances), and have a bachelor’s in English and communications. I’ve previously worked in the nonprofit industry, the cannabis industry and the broadcast industry.
I currently work as an editorial assistant at the local newspaper, The Inquirer and Mirror.
I hope to be able to support myself as a writer while pursuing my creative goals concurrently. Ultimately, I hope to work as a screenwriter in the future.

I have provided music- and film-related coverage for the independent music journal Juice Box Press and am a contributing writer at Atwood Magazine.
I'm also an amateur home cook and a metalhead (let’s talk Mastodon, Spiritbox, Deftones, Jinjer, Kittie, Slipknot, Polaris, etc.!)
I enjoy exploring the outdoors, learning how to be a better writer, talking about music, reading super horrifying, disturbing books, practicing my bass, sharing TV/Film suggestions and telling my cat I love her no fewer than 50 times a day.
Love all things Marvel, Vikings, GoT and Reacher.
